After raising $125M in a Series C round in 2022, Bell Falls Search served as a key partner in NexHealth’s rapid software development team expansion. Over six months our team presented 125+ senior level technology focused candidates with similar start-up experience in healthcare and patience experience software. All of these roles were remote and represented candidates across the United States.
RIS Logic was a fledgling company of two entrepreneurs that took an innovative and cutting edge concept developed by a visionary physician and created a rapidly growing Radiology Information System software product. From their inception, they faced several challenges in their recruitment process. Initially, the company lacked formal offices for interviewing, had no internal recruiters and was a true start-up. Their objective was to rapidly develop a go-to-market EMR system for outpatient radiology clinics and independent radiologists and then hire Sales, Implementation and Technical Support professionals.
The results of this partnership were impressive. Through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, RIS Logic grew to 50 employees in 2-3 years. Over this 3 year period Bell Falls Search filled 20 positions including the SVP of Strategic Business Initiatives, VP of Sales, VP of Implementation Services, Chief Data Architect, Director of Technical Support, Manager of Implementation Services, Software Development Manager, multiple software engineers, implementation consultants and sales representatives.
RIS Logics growth was so rapid and successful that they were able to position themselves as a leading provider of radiology EMR, medical imaging and interoperability and were attractive to multiple strategic acquirers and ultimately the company was sold to Merge Healthcare and later acquired by IBM Watson Health.

NetGenics was a start-up bioinformatics software business based in Cleveland, OH. It was focused on developing an enterprise platform to drive drug discovery for large pharmaceutical companies. They successfully raised $54M in Venture Capital between 1996 – 2000.
At the time, Career Enterprises (a predecessor to Bell Falls Search) served as a key partner in their rapid expansion helping to complete numerous successful searches including software development, product management, user interface design, account management, implementation and training.
NetGenics was acquired by LION Biosciences circa 2002.
